Account Manager

Part of James Cropper PLC, TFP is a global business, with sites in the UK and USA and a worldwide sales and support network. Our materials provide solutions across a wide range of markets such as aerospace, defence, automotive, composites and construction, as well as in renewable energy, where we have a strong focus on enabling green technologies, such as fuel cells, green hydrogen generation, wind energy and electric vehicles.

Continued growth within TFP, has led to us expanding and as a consequence we need to reinforce and strengthen Sales team.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our TFP Sales team to develop new business and grow existing business in the key market areas for Technical Fibre Products, principally working with new and existing customers within specified markets across Europe.

Key Accountabilities:

Develop relationships with key clients to retain and grow organic business
Promote and sell the Company’s capability and products in order to meet TFP’s Business Plan needs
Monitor and feedback market trends and competitive activity in key market areas
Drive and coordinate product development, with the technical department, to fulfil customer needs
Work with Marketing and Technology departments to identify new markets, customers and products to generate significant growth

The ideal candidate’s will possess;

Relevant degree or equivalent experience
Background in Engineering or Chemistry
Proven track record in Technical Sales
Ability to interpret technical requirements and offer solutions
Polished report writing capability
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Due to the nature of this role, it is a requirement that the job holder must have full UK driving License

This is a home-based role, but with a requirement to get into the office frequently therefore applications would be encouraged from candidates living in the north of the UK (willing to commute to Kendal, Lake District), or willing to relocate. EU travel is also a requirement
