At TFP, we develop and manufacture high-performance nonwoven materials and coatings for hydrogen fuel cells and electrolysers - offering not just a diverse product range but the capability to tailor materials to meet specific
performance requirements. Our products serve applications in a wide
variety of fields including surface engineering of composites, fire
protection, thermal insulation, power storage, and various
electrochemical applications. Our customers make parts using our
materials for parts on planes, hockey sticks, electric vehicles, fighter
planes, hydrogen fuel cells, and electrolyzers.
At TFPH, a crucial part of our ethos is working in partnership with our
customers to develop solutions for their technically demanding
challenges. Our expertise is drawn from an extensive knowledge of
working with a wide range of polymers, particulates, and specialty
fibres. This experience ensures that we continue our 35-year tradition
of delivering customised material solutions for our customers.

development and customer service processes and initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have a background in green hydrogen, with
knowledge of the elcotrlyser market. The primary objective of this role
is to obtain new business by increasing sales at exisiting accounts and
to get material specified into new products and markets.
This will include, but not be limited to:
New Customer Acquisition
Manage and challenge prospect’s expectations
Succesfully spec in and win new business
Gain an understanding of the needs of potential customers and provide relevant solutions
Give presentations in person professionally and competently
Answer technical questions and work with TFP personnel to deliver the best solution
Promptly provide recommendations, samples, and quotes to the prospect
Report on volume demand, timeline, and application internally
Key Account Management
Further penetration into key customer organizations
Complete quarterly business reviews with key customers
Manage and challenge customer expectations
Ensure enquiries, requested information, and samples are processed promptly
Forecast 1 yr, 3r, and 5 yr volume demand
Create and manage supply agreements
Manage non-disclosure agreements
Marketing and Communication
Research and prospect to help identify new business opportunities where TFP’s
advanced materials and capabilities may be applied.
Understand the EAP customer base and support the marketing team where needed
Maintenance and Reporting
Ensure that the data in CRM is correct and processes are followed
This a remote position ideally located in the south of the UK working from
home and TFPH Launceston office where you will be expected to visit on a
regular basis
Ability to travel across Europe / Asia / Pacific (30%)
What will make you successful?
B.S. or B.A Degree, ideally, in physical science such as Chemistry, Material
Science, Physics, or Engineering. Equivalent training/professional
experience will be considered.
Demonstrated profession experience preferably in an green hydrogen/engineering/materials environment
Microsoft Office – Word, Excel (Pivot Tables/Analysis), PowerPoint, CRM Database use and maintenance
Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the confidence
to use it to persuade our customers to expand their purchases of our
products.
Interact, and work efficiently with motivation and enthusiasm within all departments of TFP, to continuously improve business processes and resolve issues of service, product availability, and product quality for customers
Requires a high level of concentration at all times to interpret often complex customer requirements.
Ability to prioritise, interpret, think creatively, and plan for contingencies
An authentic and customer-oriented approach for our new and existing customers
