Technical Fibre Products (TFP) was established 30 years ago and is part of James Cropper PLC. We are a speciality manufacturer of wet-laid high performance non-woven veils and mats for an array of challenging applications. In addition we also manufacture electrochemical materials for existing and next generation hydrogen technologies.
TFP is a global business, with sites in the UK and USA and a worldwide sales and support network. We operate primarily within the Green Energy and Aerospace markets whilst also providing cutting edge solutions in the Defence, Energy, Consumer Electronics, Industrial, Construction and Healthcare markets.
Continued growth within TFP, has led to us expanding and as a consequence we currently have a vacancy for a Business Admin Apprentice, to provide support to TFP Customer Services and Purchasing.
-Manage information to ensure records are kept up to date for effective customer & supplier relationship management.
-Work closely with customers and suppliers to raise and track sales and purchase orders.
-Liaise with freight forwarders to process UK and Export despatches and imports. Resolution of issues relating to the movement of goods.
-Responsible for accurate processing of documentation for all exports and imports in line with HMRC guidelines
-Handle customer enquiries and complaints via telephone and email.
-Monitoring and interpreting stock levels and scheduling appropriate replenishments.
-General administration including filing and archiving
-Monitoring office supplies and reordering as needed.
-Providing cover in the Customer Service and Purchasing department as required.
The successful candidate can expect to receive a competitive salary, as well as a range of fantastic additional benefits such as: bonus scheme and pension.
Applicants should be educated to Level 4 GCSE Math’s and English.
This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday between 08.45- 17:00.
