The ESG Executive role will be directly responsible for enacting our Environmental, Social and Governance efforts with the cross functional ESG Team. This role will work closely with internal groups and external technical consultants to develop annual plans to meet our ESG targets. Additionally, the ESG Executive will lead environmental certifications, with support from external consultants
Key Accountabilities
Project manage the implementation of agreed ESG strategy.
Collaborate with key functions across the organisation to devise and deliver key activities to meet ESG strategic objectives.
Collaborate with key functions across the business to collect required data for ESG reporting and monitoring.
Research and stay current with global ESG regulatory landscape. Addressing regulations and changes with key business stakeholders and project team to determine necessary course of action.
Develop, automate, and publish KPIs to measure progress towards goals / targets. Maintain sharepoint site with KPI data and supporting ESG content.
Assist with report preparation, including internal and external quarterly reports, annual ESG report, and other annual reporting as required.
Work with key internal stakeholders and relevant external bodies to obtain or maintain critical certifications e.g.Ecovadis.
Review competitors ESG activities and keep team apprised on suggestions that might add value to our programme.
Produce annual global carbon footprint assessment covering Scopes 1, 2 & 3 carbon emissions, and emissions intensity
What will make you successful?
3-5 years project management experience
2 years of professional experience in ESG / Sustainability
Knowledge and experience implementing and developing ESG practices and programmes in manufacturing industry
Experience supporting sustainability, ESG, energy and/or
decarbonization programmes
Experience with ESG data collection and benchmarking
Experience working with Reduce, Reuse & Recycle initiatives
Excellent research and analytical skills to be able to stay on top of evolving global ESG regulatory landscape
