TFP Hydrogen initially began operations in the United Kingdom and we are now in the process of expanding our activities in the United States. The Opportunity
Play a pivotal role in driving and shaping our organisation's technological advancements and innovative strategies. Your role is crucial to the business to establish a strong connection between our technical teams and our customers. Responsible for driving and implementing change initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation within the organisation. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of change management principles and innovation practices
This will involve overseeing the implementation of improvements to our current products and processes, as well as spearheading the development of new products that will drive future revenue growth.
Responsible for maintaining a senior-level accountability for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality, ensuring that our operations adhere to the highest standards.
Provide technical support to our Business Development team to ensure the Company's technical credibility, and collaborate with Manufacturing to identify areas for improvement and resolve any issues that arise.
Key Accountabilities
Leads the development and execution of the Annual Innovation Plan, ensuring that all innovation projects have strategic value, are costed and timed with business cases presented for board approval.
Accountable for Technology and the achievement of the Company's annual targets across the business, serving as the Technical Authority on engineering and scientific projects for both products and processes.
Ensures the quality of experimental work, analysis of results and conclusions to the required scientific and engineering standards, enabling the company to make informed decisions regarding new product and process introductions.
Manages external resources to optimise the use of the Company's funds and expertise, while identifying and securing funding sources for innovation projects that have commercial value.
Provides technical support to customers, supporting the sales cycle, and leading the Center of Excellence (CoE) while serving as the Technical Authority/Support for the group on a global scale.
Providing technical guidance to customers by supporting the sales cycle you and your team will interact directly with major OEM’s alongside the commercial team to win new specifications.
Leading the UK Centre of Excellence (CoE) while serving as the Technical Authority/Support for the group on a global scale.
Reports to the MD, communicating progress against strategic objectives through regular updates and written monthly reports, while also conducting quarterly performance reviews and holding regular team meetings to share best practices.
Develops and manages the Innovation Team, communicating effectively to ensure team members are aware of their contributions and progress towards strategic objectives, conducting quarterly performance management reviews, and developing future organizational requirements.
Supports production troubleshooting activities and business development activities as requested.
Responsible for promoting and maintaining a strong Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) culture and performance within the company.

Proven experience in successfully taking products from development to production.

Possesses strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
Capable of executing strategic plans while supporting and guiding teams to achieve goals.
Experienced in leading teams in a rapidly changing technical environment, spanning science and engineering disciplines.
Exceptional communication skills to effectively share ideas, provide clarity to team members, motivate teams, and report on successes.
Strong organizational skills to prioritise tasks and plan effectively
