We currently have an exciting vacancy for an Operational Excellence Leader within our Paper business, reporting into the Paper Operations Director.
This is a new role and will be critical in delivering overall business strategy by identifying and implementing world class Operational Excellence programmes and processes throughout Paper Operations, comprising several depts. and > 250 employees.
The individual will be required to develop / introduce standard work tools and processes and promote a data driven culture to support true root cause understanding of issues and opportunities and enable effective decision making in real time. They should have a keen eye for detail; ability to establish strong working relationships; drive to identify and establish improvements and a good sense of commercial acumen. This will be a highly influential role within our business as we aim to step change our real time performance capability, whilst helping build on our positive culture.
Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and have significant experience in a manufacturing environment, leading and influencing teams to deliver continually improving performance across a balanced scorecard. Key experiences would include a Manufacturing Team Leader role; Production Manager role and CI Manager role. An appreciation of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to Green Belt level would be advantageous.
