We are looking for a dynamic procurement professional to join us on our journey to deliver our Strategic Sourcing Strategy. This new Team Leader role will offer the opportunity to be a major contributor to the future success of our Paper business. This role will support this vision by developing robust supply chains and creative partnering models to enable the business to anticipate market needs whilst striving to deliver greater value.

We need someone who can be responsible for translating business strategy into procurement improvement plans, and can lead and develop a team’s skills and talents in line with the future demands of the business.
Who are we looking for…?
We are looking for an individual with the ability to lead and manage a small commercial buying team. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage budget expectations, build long standing supplier relationships and deliver increased value. A proactive mind-set, combined with managing internal stakeholders, will be essential to delivering supply improvements associated with a large Engineering Stores at the heart of our business.
What skills and experience do you need to bring with you?
Ideally you will be MCIPS qualified with previous experience of engineering procurement and inventory management. Knowledge of stores, equipment and compliance legislation would be an advantage. We will be looking for candidates with proven or demonstrable leadership experience. A qualification in Leadership & Management (ILM or CMI) would be considered beneficial.
