Project Manager

The Opportunity

As Marketing Project Manager you will oversee the management of projects for selected new business and change projects within creative papers and luxury packaging – either paper or thermo-formed fibre.

Your will be responsible for;

Following full qualification and opportunity assessment/fact-find by sales & marketing team, the project manager will then manage the project from initial selection/prioritisation, through trial and scale up to sign-off to the business functions once ‘business as usual’ is achieved (i.e., Stabilised product performance and commercial relationship). Typically, this will be after first production run.

Tight control of project timeline. Working closely with external and internal stakeholders to keep pace on actions, adherence to internal processes (i.e., NPI process) and hold team members accountable. Internal stakeholders include sales, customer service, marketing, design, planning, supply chain, technical and operations.

Development and presentation of formal proposal document – outlining specification, service offering and commercial proposal including critical milestones and dates.

Upon project completion ensure efficient hand over to commercial business functions for business as usual.

Completion of formal customer data requests pertaining to project – environmental credentials, specification sheets etc.

Existing project Management experience and proven track-record in delivering complex multi-discipline projects.

Excellent internal networker – able to drive action and pace by mobilising a diverse team to deliver on time in full.

Process driven and disciplined to engage pace in execution.

Strong resource allocator -able to focus ruthlessly on critical path to ensure delivery of biggest priorities.

Owner of project brief/bid document and ongoing project plan.

Engaging presenter – able to influence senior level stakeholders internally and with the customer
