Your Opportunity
The successful candidate will proactively manage the TFP Hydrogen quality functions. Maintaining, co-ordinating and developing quality and business systems within TFP Hydrogen in the most efficient way to meet business requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Manages Quality activities to ensure a quality system compliant to ISO 9001 requirements, including the complaints system.
The TFP Hydrogen “management representative” (as defined by ISO 9001). This includes representing TFP Hydrogen during customer or regulatory body visits as required.
Provides high quality management information to other TFP Hydrogen teams by the identification, development and implementation of systems to collect and process this information.
Translates customer requirements into product quality specifications and service including certification and inspection of material.
Develops quality systems effectively and efficiently to meet future regulatory requirements
Responsible for incorporating safety aspects into supplier purchase specifications, ensuring safety requirements are met.
Manages quality functions on a day to day basis.
Accountable for the safe working and safety of the Quality Control function.
Acting as the main contact for QIS in TFP Hydrogen and coordinating the QIS system.
Responsible for developing FMEA’s, Control Plans, MSA and SPC within TFP Hydrogen
Responsible for implementing and maintaining SPC on specific products in TFP Hydrogen
What will make you successful?
You will have extensive proven experience in a quality function with HNC/D qualifications or equivalent. Lean Six Sigma certification would also be beneficial. In addition to this you will demonstrate the following;
Trained internal audit experience
Competent in use of computer software packages e.g. MS Office, MOPS, QIS
Intimate knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001:2015.
Knowledge of 8D analysis, Ishikawa, non-conformance reporting and root cause analysis
An in-depth knowledge of the core tools of the automotive standard.
Ability to produce quality assurance documentation, reports and process improvement documentation
The ability to identify problems, analyse problems and escalate when relevant
Making quality decisions involves complex thought processes, which take into account historical data, knowledge of the customer, the end use of the product and TFP Hydrogen’s manufacturing capability.
Pro-active use of FMEA – problem-solving strategies applied to quality problems.
