We are looking for a visionary and courageous Senior Technical Manager to drive an innovation culture and build a high performing team focused on adding value through effective product creation and commercialisation. The role will be based in the English Lake District – which is designated as a World Heritage site.

We need someone who is able to support the growth plans for the business by driving prioritisation and productivity through strong customer focus, entrepeneurial skills and the ability to sustain a high performance team. We are looking for a change agent who is willing to challenge the conventional and pilot new ideas and methodologies, but appreciates the values and heritage of the company, with shared responsibility of the governance thereof.
What skills and experience do you need to bring with you?
Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Paper Making, Engineering or a Chemistry-related discipline. Applicants should have extensive relevant experience of managing a technical function, within a regulated or regulatory environment, and should be adept in creating and managing high performance teams.
