Storeperson

We currently have a vacancy for a Storeperson to provide a first rate service to internal customers through the issue of Stores’ items, as well as having responsibility for receiving deliveries, monitoring stock control systems, stocktaking and auditing procedures and the safe handling of diverse goods & materials.

The ideal candidate will be a diligent, reliable and proactive individual who is open to change, looking to contribute to continuous improvements and keen to solve problems. A cheerful and helpful nature is essential to build up good working relationships with key stakeholders and external partners, as well as working well within a team.

The jobholder must hold a full driving license and previous Fork Lift Truck driving skills would be an advantage, although full training will be given where necessary. Attention to detail, sound numerical and computer skills are also required.

Working an average of 42 hours per week, with a 30 minutes for a lunch break. The hours will be as follows:

Week 1 – 6.00am – 2.30pm Monday – Friday and 7.00am – 11.00am Saturday Morning.
Week 2 – 9.30am – 6.00pm Monday – Friday
