Continued growth within TFP, has led to us expanding and as a consequence we need to reinforce and strengthen our team. We have an exciting vacancy for a Warehouse Operative to carry out the movement of materials safely, efficiently and without damage
Key Accountabilities:
Handling and moving materials in TFP
Handling and moving incoming and finished goods
Stock management of all material held in TFP
Solving operational and product problems
Providing verbal and written communication when necessary
Comprehensive recording of all necessary information
Following and contributing to improvements in safety, housekeeping, workplace organisation and environment
Thorough understanding and use of Safe Systems of Work and procedures in the warehouse area.
Providing assistance with maintenance activities on plant and machinery.
The role is full time and flexibility will be asked of you around key periods to meet the needs of the business.
Due to the nature of this role, it is a requirement that the job holder must have practical expertise in warehouse operations including a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence and ideally a full driving licence
In addition to this the successful candidate will have;
Proven practical expertise in warehouse operations.
Knowledge of stock systems and stocktaking procedures
Knowledge of quality procedures
Safety, and environment knowledge and skills such as Fork Lift Truck safety, safe vehicle loading, COSHH, movement and storage of dangerous goods and waste/broke management.
Goods inwards and finished goods procedures and documentation
