We have an exciting vacancy for a Weekend Support Technician in our Engineering team to provide support to the weekend maintenance team, with planned, preventative and breakdown works along with contractor facilitation and general base engineering duties, such as lubrication and condition monitoring.
Complete work as issued by maintenance planning
Control of contractor induction onsite
Assist with engineering contractor’s on site
Carry out weekend lubrication routine
Provides assistance to engineers and craft persons (All trades)
Works alongside crafts-persons and engineers to the priorities of the jobs as issued by maintenance planning and prioritises unplanned work.
Comprehensive recording of all necessary information using the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
Uses spare machine parts cost-effectively and ensures they are all booked in /out of stores.
The role is weekend based Friday though to Monday
Due to the nature of this role, it is a requirement that the job holder must have full colour vision. A basic qualification in an engineering mechanical discipline. And good communication and computer skills. 3 GCSE Level C or above NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
There is an expectation that you will train to cover other roles while occupying this position as required, to improve flexibility of shift skills in order to meet varying
