Health and Wellbeing
We have a number of Health and Wellbeing initiatives at James Cropper plc:
We have regular visits from an Occupational Health provider to undertake basic checks and give advice.
We offer a health cash plan – Medicash – to all employees. This provides cash back towards everyday healthcare bills and a wide range of other wellbeing benefits to each person and their children.
All employees also have access to an Employee Assistance Programme with information, advice and support available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We are taking part in the Better Health at Work Award (BHAWA) scheme to help promote healthy lifestyles via campaigns such as ‘Mental Health and Stress’, ‘Men’s Health’ and ‘Back Pain’.
Alongside the BHAWA, we have recruited and trained almost 50 Mental Health First Aiders who can recognise the crucial warning signs of mental ill health and feel confident to guide someone to appropriate support.
