Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Latest

Updated 06/01/21
All three James Cropper business divisions remain open, with manufacturing operations continuing in line with the latest UK government guidelines. The health and wellbeing of our employees is our highest priority, with a series of measures in place to specifically protect against the risk of transmission of the virus.
Anyone who can work from home is doing so where practical, and those workers on-site are following the strict Covid-19 protection rules in place following the government guidelines on hands, face & space. A number of extra checks are also available on-site which include wall-mounted thermometers to check employees do not have a fever and pulse oximeters to check blood oxygen levels, as low levels may indicate the virus is present. Additionally we have an ongoing site disinfecting process in place.
No visitors are permitted on site during the lockdown, other than approved contractors or suppliers essential to maintain operations.
We are actively supporting all staff including providing regular news and updates via our employee social media network. Advice and information is available on a number of topics, including health & safety on the coronavirus, mental health, help and support networks and tips on working from home during the lockdown.
We regularly carry out and update our Covid-19 risk assessment which is published here under Risk Management on this website.
It is our hope and wish that 2021 will bring a return to a more normal way of working and living.
We send our very best wishes to all of our customers and suppliers and thank you for your continued support.
