Luxury Packaging Supplier of the Year Award

Teams across James Cropper all helped to bag the major accolade of Luxury Packaging Supplier at the Packaging News Awards recently for a combination of CupCycling™ – our unique process for upcycling used paper coffee cups – and COLOURFORM™ – our latest innovative packaging product.
Everything we do contributes real value to a circular economy.
Take what we did with Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics; the company tasked James Cropper with creating a bespoke piece of packaging for its solid bath oils, aimed at elevating the shopping experience in the most practical and sustainable way and in line with Lush’s premium nature.
Our response was COLOURFORM™ plastic-free packaging, which is made using recycled paper coffee cup fibre from our CupCycling™ plant. The product exudes quality. It’s slick, sustainable, has a luxury feel and via a lightweight and transportable box it gives the customer a ‘pick and mix’ experience. What’s more, it can be easily recycled along with household paper.
Selfridges is yet another brand we have helped, with their campaign to buy better and inspire change. We have worked with them since 2009 when they banned plastic carrier bags from their stores and replaced them with a paper alternative. Most recently we have re-purposed waste paper coffee cups from their stores and offices to make the paper for their iconic yellow bags. The bags are an exquisite demonstration of style and sustainability in perfect harmony.
The best brands are the ones that are beautiful inside and out – and being a credible part of the conversation can make your brand famous for the right reasons.
