as a consequence we need to reinforce and strengthen our finance team
as a result we currently have a vacancy for a Finance Business Partner
To be responsible for the production of the month end TFP Group
Consolidated Accounts and all its subsidiaries whilst preparing
comprehensive, high quality schedules and working papers in support of
this. Will identify, develop and implement reporting across the TFP
Group of Companies and drive improvements in all processes and
procedures. Produces financial information and analysis that supports
the profitable growth of the TFP Group whilst supporting and adhering to
the compliance environment of the James Cropper Group. Will be the lead
on the TFP Group year end audit.
In your new role as Finance Business Partner, your duties will include:
Produce the group monthly management accounts including, consolidation, creating and posting journals and reconciliations
Preparation of the TFP Group and all its subsidiaries annual accounts for year end audit Co-ordinates the TFP Group audit and is first liaison point with the auditors on all day to day requirements and ensuring delivery in line with the agreed timetable.
Provide input and assistance to yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts
Responsible for the TFP group UK and Ireland VAT returns
Oversees the daily banking and treasury transactions of the TFP Group
Co-ordinates the optimisation of all grand and R and D claims and provides support and council for all subsidiaries in the Group
Implement and create business controls and procedures
Prepare Cash-flow forecast each month for all companies in the TFP Group
Build partnerships and strong relationships with senior managers and their
teams to provide finance support for operational and commercial decision
Support ongoing systems development
Continually providing solutions to improvements in working processes that ensure accuracy and efficiency within the Department and delivers in line with
wider Finance Group requirements.
The successful candidate will have;
Fully qualified accountant with a recognised accountancy qualification or QBE
with extensive knowledge of a manufacturing organisation with multiple
companies and a in depth understanding of the consolidation process
Experience in a manufacturing environment
