A Commendation from the BITC

We are extremely proud to have received a commendation from the BITC in the recent Responsible Business Awards.

“Organisations which acknowledge their responsibility to society by evolving their business to be a sustainable one for the long term should be recognised and celebrated. We are proud of James Cropper who have been selected as a Responsible Business Awards 2019 finalist. Together, all the finalists are helping to make the UK the world leader in responsible business.”
Amanda Mackenzie, chief executive of Business in the Community
We recently attended the Business in the Community (BITC) Responsible Business Awards where we were shortlisted for the UPS Environmental Sustainability Award. It was an honour to be shortlisted alongside Morrisons, SKY, CitySprint, The Pure Option and Midcounties Co-operative.
To be recognised by the BITC for our efforts in CupCycling™ is a huge achievement and one that we are very proud of. To be featured in a category with some of the UK's biggest businesses and who are making a real difference in striving for a more sustainable future is a milestone moment for James Cropper.
The awards champion the most inspiring businesses who are making a difference by taking action to build more inclusive workplaces, stronger communities and tackle our biggest environmental challenges.
MANY FORWARD-THINKING BUSINESSES ARE, I KNOW, ALREADY PUTTING THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY INTO PRACTICE.
