Showcasing our Capabilities at Global Creative Packaging Exhibition

Global creative packaging exhibition LuxePack 2019 in Monaco was our biggest and best yet!
We've listed some of the highlights and insights from our team below...

We took our world-renowned Colour Lab to Monaco! Our team of colour experts demonstrated how we perfectly create tailor made coloured paper and packaging, with tips on precision colour matching.
We drew crowds of people including designers, packaging professionals and luxury brands!
An insightful conference, with the motto “What you show, is where you go” reiterated throughout.
"Don’t put anything out into the world which might drag you backwards. Always be future-focused".

Meet our Colour Technician and papermaking extraordinaire, Alison Rodwell.

Meet the Team
Welcome to our #MeetTheTeam series, where we introduce you to some of the faces behind the magic at James Cropper...

First up, we have our Market Sector Manager, James Cropper Paper (or in his own words, James Cropper’s paper advisor and guitar enthusiast), Stefan Pryor.
Starting off in the paper industry at a young age, Stefan worked as a paper boy for his local newsagent and has been hooked ever since! We asked Stefan a few questions…
What do you enjoy about the work you do?
I love discovering beautiful packaging in shops around the world, which is created at our paper mill in Kendal. It happens more often than you’d think!
Tell us something you’re proud of?
I was an official torchbearer for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
What would you like to see happen in the paper and packaging industry over the next decade?
I’d like to see greater emphasis put on educating consumers on best recycling practices. There’s too much confusion out there!
And finally, what’s your favourite colour?
Yellow! One, because it’s eye-catching, and two (more importantly) because it’s the main colour of the football team I support. I’ll let you guess who!
